Description
The worm gearboxes series H is conceptually based on the X series with the addition of a front pre-gear at the transmission inlet, which allows higher gear ratios or better efficiency for the same gear ratios. Gearboxes of sizes 90 and 110 are made of cast iron, smaller sizes are die-cast from aluminum. The ground worm shaft is made of case-hardened and hardened steel. The worm wheel has a cast iron hub with a bronze ring. The standard design is a hollow output shaft, but the gearboxes allow the connection of modular accessories in the form of output shafts and flanges, a second input shaft, torque limiter or torque arm.
